BIOGRAPHY

I realise I'm doing something good when I simply don't know what I'm doing. There seems to be a conflict in what I write and what I think, but is like this. The detached mind, it doesn't have to think too much, it doesn't have to think at all, otherwise it doesn't create but replicates...and the copies have nothing special. Some photographs strike me and I look at them without knowing that I am looking at them. They capture me and enter into me. Photos when they have a soul capture the gaze and our sensitivity enters into empathy with the image we see. It changes our state of mind... it's an immediate contact... it lasts a fraction or a second or more and you don't notice it. The contact has taken place. There are no photographers better than others. There are photographers who can communicate more and others less. Some have a similar sensitivity to ours and we like them because we are on the same page. I live in Milan.
