BIOGRAPHY
I’m an Italian photographer based in Bari, an Apulian city on the Adriatic Sea. I graduated in Italy and I lived between Bari and Milan before spending five years in Africa where I captured portraits and landscapes that tell stories of pain, strength, and beauty. After exploring the outside world, I wanted to explore my internal world, so I returned to my roots, to Bari where I began a deep and delicate study of myself through the lens. I became the photographer, the model, and the director. My self-portraits are natural with little – if any – planning. My face is almost always hidden, as revealing it would impact the experience too much and leave little to the imagination. This way the viewer can identify themself with the subject and the feelings I portray. My images are ethereal as well as enigmatic. My focus is feminine beauty characterized by an elegant balance of lights and shadows. I love to hide and merge with the environment around me, creating intriguing and evocative images, often surreal and dreamy.
