BIOGRAPHY

My name is Becks and I'm a German girl that found a new home in the lucky country down under. Living in two worlds, I share my time between city life in Brisbane and the beach in Byron Bay. I find new inspiration every time I’m on the road and dive into the Byron world. My go-to is my 50mm lens on my Z6 Nikon but recently I discovered my love for film photography. I have inherited a Porst analogue camera from my Dad and can see the world through his lens now. The challenge and the excitement about film photography: there is no second try. I love composing colours, light and patterns and can spend hours looking for the right magic and atmosphere for my shoots. My images capture moments of strength and vulnerability, edginess & sensuality and aim to enhance the natural beauty that I see in everyone.
