BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Mexico City, I studied Architecture at the Autonomous University of Mexico, a career that I interrupted since my vocation is the visual arts. I decided to enroll in the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda" of INBA. During my stay at ENPEG, I worked on a project with the SEP (Secretary of Education) and the National Center for the Arts in the delivery of plastic arts workshops for technical secondary school teachers. I have taught plastic arts workshops and courses for children and conferences with various audiences on the dissemination of the arts. I am co-author of the book "Visual Arts" from the New Mexico publishing house. 2017 Semifinalist of the photographic magazine "CuartoDarko" of Mexico in its national contest with the theme: "El Tiempo" with photography titled: Memento Mori. 2020 Lomography Magazine interviewed me for my photographic series: The Story of J. With 135mm and 120mm format film. Since I feel a great passion for preserving forgotten processes and techniques that are almost abandoned. I currently work as a teacher at the Center for Studies in Communication Sciences CECC.
