BIOGRAPHY

I won’t simplify my existence, and I will be consistent in my story , in our story , because I believe we are all connected. It's always so hard for me to write about myself, yes I am doing a personal work that comes from the inside ...I am enough!
I use my body, body of work, body as a narrative support, body as support. Portraits, self-portraits, countless portraits. Body ... because everyone has one, that's for sure. Body of art, naturally generates sensations and these sensations are creative matter. It contains infinite possibilities. Is it possible to have other faces within us besides our own? I am sure that my life purpose is making art, today and precisely in these insane moments of imprisonment that we live today, I am sure: This is me, this is my life, my " home". I felt and feel extremely happy to have time to recreate myself, I feel my emotions so much, that sometimes it feels like I have a hole in my chest. It is necessary, as a mental / physiological need to produce images within the female and human universe. I do not know if there is an art of women, but the truth is that the female universe, portrayed by women reflects, among many other things, the desire to show itself from a particular point of view, not from a male point of view , which has always been prevalent in the arts. To work with the female universe is to give voice to my desires, the desires of women; it is to call man to the feminine side; is to call us to balance. I believe that this work is not only about me. It's not just about the way I see the body and bodies, my physical and emotional relationship with everything around me, everything that constrains or frees me, everything that makes me grow or prevents me from being who I am and having my own language. This search is legitimate, within the contemporary, which highlights the issues of identity and representation as central to the universe of art. Art is always, in some way, a political gesture. It is the politics of the body, of the body itself, that speaks and puts itself on display, in relation to the other, and to the world. The female body is still, symbolically, a fruitful body, capable of reproducing and producing other bodies, of generating life within itself. It is the body from which we all sprout, associated, often with the Gaya.
