BIOGRAPHY
I was born in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil. As a teenager I went to live in the United States. I majored in film and my passion for visual arts grew even more. I began my professional journey with moving images; directing and editing advertising films and music videos. Photography has always accompanied me as a hobby; I began to study lighting and composition from my favorite painters and filmmakers. My source of inspiration? The 19th centuries paintings most of the time... but literally everything can inspire me: Books, films, illustrations, sculptures, nature. I love the work of Giuseppe Magni, Rembrandt , Bouguereau and many others. I don't really see my work engaged in an activist art, with a specific purpose. I just want to achieve an aesthetic and technical quality that makes my photo memorable. It has more to do with a contemplation experience than an argumentative one. I want my images to be appreciated by its beauty and form nothing else.
