The End of the World
I am at the beginning of my path of discovery and i try to enjoy the path more than the results, which makes it very difficult and yes, often torturous. But this torture is related to translation of myself on a level i’m content with.
I think sometimes it hinders me to see what already has been done since I am just starting out. I like to see how people express and it reflects on what i do now and why. It makes me more conscious about myself. You are forced to work with your heart, which is very important and essential to me.
I was inspired of this photoshoot when my time spent and talking with Egle Anastasia Ellerman in Denmark. It was fascinating and confronting. Like all important meetings.
My vision now is dominated by body language, passion, mood and drama.
At this moment of my life this seems the most important.
I am extremly grateful that I was able to meet various photographers, although meeting them sometimes made me feel even more insecure. But I've followed my own way, which means a lot of experimentation. That’s the reason where i develop this particular way of photography.
I express myself through my camera lens with extreme passion and intensity.
The first picture that pointed me to be a photographer.? I don’t call myself a photographer yet. I make pictures, study light, mood and style. The first picture I made of my son was one I was quite happy about.
During my travels mainly in Asia, I made ‘simple’ precious, visual memories from daily life, but meeting Alena Kozlova and Ilya Yagodinski two and a half years ago, inspired me to discover photography as a parallel to my path in life. This was led me to photography.
