BIOGRAPHY

I was born on December 8, 1986 in Samara, Russia. Some time ago, when I was pregnant, I ended up in the hospital. By mistake of doctors, due to an overdose of the drug, for 14 hours I was on the verge of life and death, my own and my baby's. At the same time, being conscious, I realized how fleeting our life is and everything depends on one moment. After the birth of my son, I wanted to shoot how fast he grows. I took a dusty camera from the shelf and started shooting... When I realized that my photos were not what I wanted them to be, I started actively studying the art of photography. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know. A photograph is just a moment, a whole story in one frame. Happiness is being here and now and enjoying the moment. After all, life itself is already happiness. So in my pictures, I try to convey exactly the emotion that a person carries at the moment. All my pictures they kind of "pass through the heart".  And I love every job I do and I'm proud of every one. Each of them is a small step on a long way to developing and finding own unique style. “To be, not to seem” is the basic principle of documentary photo and portraiture, in my opinion. It is necessary to be able to see beauty in everyday things to show it to the world. Light is the main component of any photo. And not only natural light, but also the "light" that each person carries within. And seeing it is a great gift.
