BIOGRAPHY

I am a photographer based in Greece. I was born in Russia, lived in Sydney in Australia, and later settled down on one of the Blue zones areas, a greek island Ikaria in the Agean sea. Photography came into my life at an early age, and accompanied me through all my life. About 10 years ago I decided to take my passion for photography to a new level, and took a series of photography courses in various european schools.
At the moment I am a multi-genre photographer. Abstract photography, nature and portrait photography are among my favourite. Most often the source of my inspiration is the nature of the island where I live, the Greek lifestyle and people of the island that can be characterised as proud, independent, friendly and very communicative.
The magic of visual storytelling and power of saving people's emotions have absolutely consumed me. My favourite qoute about photography is this one by Karl Lagerfeld:
